Cheap cheap seed starting pots! Recycled and biodegradable!

I'm always appalled at the price of those plastic and otherwise seed starting pots at the stores. You and I don't need to spend any money! You can do that with good old newspaper! Here's the entire process.

Here's the same thing done with toilet paper rolls and brown paper.

Update: I went to do mine and what worked best for me was to cut the toilet paper/paper towel roll in the size I wanted (about 2.5" tall), roll the newspaper around it and leave them together. I didn't remove the roll. It felt more stable that way, and still biodegradable.
